Welcome to the Young Lawyers Section of the MSBA!

With this new website, we are continuing our commitment to supporting lawyers in their efforts to build fulfilling careers while contributing to their communities. Check back frequently for news and information on networking opportunities, educational events, and public service projects.

This year’s theme is technology. We will make better use of technology to reach our members, we will explore how we can use technology in our practices, and we will assist our membership in having a voice on how technology will impact the regulation of attorneys. If you have any ideas about any of these subjects please contact us.

At the same time, with your help, we will continue to broaden our presence in the community with the award-winning “One Bar, One Community” public service project led by Michael Siri and Gwen Tate.  We’ll also seek more opportunities to train attorneys in new areas of the law while increasing pro bono services for those in need. And, as usual, we will continue to foster a supportive environment for attorneys, judges, and other professionals to network and learn from one another.

Join us!

You are the Young Lawyers Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. The more you think of it that way and the more we have the benefit of one another’s participation, the stronger our Section will be. And...
