The purpose of the Section is to examine and attempt to improve the
administration of justice throughout the judicial system of Maryland, including all of the
courts comprising that system, both state and federal, appellate and trial courts of
general and limited jurisdiction.

Next year’s proposed council meeting dates will again be on Thursdays with proposed meetings on September 20, October 25, with a November and December hiatus for the various holidays, followed by January 24, February 21, March 27, April 24 and May 22. These are tentative 2007/2008 dates subject to change.
In the past, the Judicial Administration Council annual projects have addressed discovery, mediation & settlement practices, voir dire, and judicial professionalism, to name just a few. Any and all suggestions for future projects would be welcome from the MSBA membership!
